Just when Don King was a memory since the Klitschko brothers have dominated the 4 organizations for the past 7 years he’s back and still waving American flags! At the USC Galen Center in L.A. Stiverne stopped Arreola at 2:02 of the 6th!

King co-promoted (along with Goosen) the vacant WBC heavyweight fight and represents Bermane Stiverne, 24-1-1 (21), a Haitian living in Miami and sometimes Montreal. Behind on 2 score cards (?) and on DHB by 4pts after 5 rounds Stiverne claims: “I was waiting until he got relaxed for the same punch I dropped him in our last fight (right to the temple).”

Chris Arreola, 36-4 (31), of Riverside, CA, lost a close 1st round and took the next 4 convincingly but got dropped twice before referee Jack Reiss stopped it.

The WBC’s No. 3 contender Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder, 31-0 (31) is ordered to be next for Stiverne but knowing King there will be a couple of “easier” paydays before this ever happens.

Wladimir Klitschko holds the WBA, IBF and WBO titles and has been ordered to fight Kubrat “The Cobra” Pulev, 20-0 (11) of Bulgaria the No. 1 IBF contender. It’s also known Klitschko is about to be married and the future Mrs. Klitschko most likely doesn’t want her husband fighting anymore at 38.

Stay tuned boxing fans because when King says “only in America” you can expect the unexpected!
