Philly’s light middleweight Julian “J-Rock” Williams, 18-0-1 (11), remained unbeaten Saturday night scoring three knockdowns en route to stopping Jamar Freeman, 13-4-2 (6), of Wilson, NC, in 8 rounds at the Little Creek Casino & Resort, in Shelton, WA, over Showtime. The 29 year-old Freeman had won his last three bouts.

The 24 year-old Williams dropped Freeman twice in the seventh and once in the eighth round before referee Robert Byrd called a halt at 0:29 of the round in a scheduled ten round bout for the WBC Continental Americas title. He is ranked No. 14 by the WBC.

Williams in keeping his unbeaten record is joined by other Philly boxers Bryant Jennings, 19-0, Jesse Hart, 16-0, Karl Dargan 17-0, Niam Nelson, 12-0, Milton Santiago, 8-0 and Anthony Burgin, 8-0 in the city of Brotherly Love.

His trainer and manager is Stephen “Breadman” Edwards and his advisor is Al Haymon.
