Ran Nakash Returns to the Blue Horizon Against Dave Brunelli April 3rd!

Blue Horizon Boxing Promotions headed by Vernoca Michael will feature an explosive card Friday April 3rd at Philadelphia’s Blue Horizon featuring Israel’s Ran Nakash 17-0 (13) who has made 8 appearances at the Blue Horizon and is currently on an 8 knockout winning streak. His opponent in this scheduled 8 round bout is Philly’s Dave Brunelli 8-4 (3) who has won both his fights at the Blue and has dealt 3 of his victims their first loss including Aaron Lyons at the Blue in June of 2007 after Lyons had stopped Joey Abell. Brunelli brings a big following wherever he fights and will have a height
and weight advantage over Nakash who usually stays under the 200 mark.

Julias Edmonds 4-3 has won 4 out of 5 at the Blue and will be taking on Tyric Robinson 9-3-1 (3) who looks to improve on his 3-3 record at the Blue. Edmonds is a blue collar worker in the ring while Robinson will box with multi skills in spite of a limited amateur background. These Philly junior weights will also be in an 8 round bout. Look for this fight to possibly be the most difficult on the card to pick a winner.

Philly super middleweight Gee Edward Cullmer 15-1 (3) returns to the Blue for the first time since September when he won a majority decision over Jameel Wilson in his first 8 round bout. Cullmer’s last 11 fights have been at the Blue winning 10 with one no contest. Bethlehem’s Ronald Cruz 3-0 (2) has been fighting once a month since turning pro in January and has won the fans over with his aggressive style. He trains out of nearby Phoenixville. Matchmaker Don Elbaum has over 40 rounds scheduled.
