Poland’s Tomasz Adamek, 37-1 (25), makes his second title defense of his IBF cruiserweight title against Hackensack’s Bobby Gunn, 21-3 (18) Saturday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey!

Adamek is unbeaten in all his 6 cruiserweight bouts since moving up in weight in June of 2007. He will be making his third straight appearance at the Prudential Center since defeating then champion Steve Cunningham for the IBF title in December. In February he made his first defense stopping previously unbeaten Johnathan
Banks in the 8th round.

Gunn has knocked out all 12 of his latest victims only losing 7 fights ago to Enzo Maccranelli when challenging for his WBO cruiserweight title back in April of 2007.

There will be four 8 round bouts on the undercard featuring Poland’s unbeaten Piotr Wilczewski, 22-0 (7) against Curtis “Showtime” Stevens, 20-2 (14), of Brownsville, New York. It will be the third visit to the US by Wilcezewski, but the first in the Garden state.

Stevens has won 7 of his last 8 bouts. They are super middleweights.

Cruiserweight Ran Nakash, 18-0 (14), of Haifa, Israel, will fight William Bailey, 10-16-2 (5), of Chesapeake, Virginia. Nakash has won his last 9 fights by knockout and is 9-0 in the US, all at Philly’s legendary Blue Horizon. Bailey is a dangerous fighter in spite of his record.

Henry Crawford, 21-0-1, (9), of Paterson takes on Philly’s Kaseem Wilson, 12-1-1 (4) in a welterweight match. Crawford’s last 2 wins have been at the Prudential Center. Wilson has won 3 straight since coming back in December.

Mateusz Masternak, 12-0 (8), of Poland takes on Egyptian Mazur Ali, 6-3 (3) in another 8 round cruiserweight match. New Jersey amateur stars Denis Douglin, 2-0 (2) and Angel Concepcion making his debut will be in fours. Delon Parsley of New York makes his debut against Tyrone Miles, 1-0, Camden’s 2006 PA GG champion.

Tickets priced at: $38, $53, $78, $103 and $253 (ringside), can be purchased at Prudential Center Box Office, by calling ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. First fight will be 7:00pm.
