The new unbeaten boxers on the scene are super middleweight Jesse “Hardwork” Hart, 18-0 (15) the son of legendary knockout artist “Cyclone” Hart who stopped legendary Aaron “The Hawk” Pryor’s son Aaron Jr. recently in his last fight. Hart is No. 3 in the WBO and holding USBA, NABF junior and WBO NABO titles. His win over Pryor looked like one of those Philly gym wars of which Hart unfortunately has engaged in just like his dad the “Cyclone” once did. Another who is scheduled this month is super welterweight Julian “J-Rock” Williams, 20-0-1 (12), is No. 8 in the WBC and holding their WBC International title. He will be the co-feature on September 22nd in Bethlehem, PA, against Argentina’s Luciano Cuello, 35-3 (17), fighting out of Spain. Williams has won a PA GG title as an amateur. Another who just suffered his first loss is former USBA heavyweight champion Bryant “By By” Jennings, 19-1 (10), who lost a decision in his last fight going after Wladimir “Dr. Steelhammer” Klitschko’s 3 titles and No. 5 in the WBC ranks. A bout with Wilder? One other is unbeaten super featherweight Omar “Super O” Douglas, 15-0 (11), out of Wilmington, DE, who does much of his sparring in Philadelphia and is No. 10 in the WBA. He recently was very impressive winning on Fox 1 going the 10 round distance for first time. In mentioning Garcia, 31-0 (18) earlier though he may be what Mayweather would be looking for as an unbeaten Latino and is No. 2 in the WBC welter’s. If Floyd Mayweather, Jr. goes for No. 50 it could very well be Garcia.
