Ricky Hatton out of the Hospital speaks out on Amir Khan

Fresh out of the Hospital after suffering some sort of stomach flu that needed medical attention (not related to the swine flu outbreak), Ricky Hatton spoke out on Amir Khan. Ricky Hatton who has become one of boxing's most beloved fighters, certainly has absolutely nothing to prove, and that is how he sees it in regards to a possible fight with Amir Khan.

Khan was everything on the side of impressive this past Saturday as he defeated Andreas Kotelnik by way of unanimous decision to win the WBA title.

Hatton is praising Khan's performance. Quoted by Gavin Glicksman of the Sun UK, Hatton in regards to Khan winning the WBA title, stated: "I'm delighted for Amir and I can't praise him enough. He's gone back to the drawing board and answered any questions there might have been about him."

In regards to a possible showdown with Khan, Hatton doesn't seem the least bit interested. Admitting the thought hasn't even entered his mind, Hatton stated: "But the fact that he's won a world title has not made me any closer to a comeback. It hasn't entered my head." Hatton added: "I don't think I have to beat Amir to prove anything.".
