Floyd Mayweather Jr's prediction for his fight with Juan Manuel Marquez

This Saturday night, Floyd Mayweather Jr. returns to the ring and faces off against Juan Manuel Marquez. The bout is set to take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV and can be seen live on HBO Pay-Per-View starting at 9pm ET/6pm PT. In a recent release sent to us here at DoghouseBoxing, Floyd Mayweather Jr. discussed his upcoming Saturday Night bout against Juan Manuel Marquez.

In regards to why he chose a fight with Marquez, Mayweather Jr. stated that to be a legend he must fight the best in his era. "To go down as a legend, you have to face the best in your era and Marquez is one of the best in my era," stated Mayweather Jr.

Mayweather Jr. feels that Saturday is another big day for him, one in which he will adjust and adapt in order to defeat Marquez. Mayweather Jr. stated: "I have been around the sport and I have experienced many different styles, and I will adjust and adapt. Now I am back and September 19 is another big day for me."

In regards to a prediction, Mayweather Jr. did not say much except that fans should expect an exciting fight and that he is predicting one hell of a fight. "You can expect blood, sweat and tears on Saturday night. I predict one hell of a fight," said Mayweather Jr.
