Commonwealth super middleweight champion Carl Froch had plenty to say yesterday in regards to his June 2nd showdown against British champion Tony Dodson whilst filming exclusive video footage that can only be seen on HennessySports.com . The 26-year-old – who will again fight in front of an adoring home crowd at the prestigious Nottingham Arena – was as always super confident, even predicting the round in which he would finish the contest.
“It’s going to be a grudge match, between two well trained athletes with a title each on the line,” he said.
“It’s going to a big affair in my hometown, with at least 5000 fans cheering me on to victory. It’s going to be a momentous occasion.”
The former amateur star continued: “He is going to come and have a go as his title is on the line, but I’m not expecting a tough night’s work.”
“My Last fight (against Charles Adamu) was a 12 rounder against a real tough strong opponent that has taught me so much, brought me on so much that I’m really confident going in against Dodson.
“It’s going to be a mid to late stoppage. I am that confident I reckon 6 rounds.”
