“On The Ropes” Boxing Radio is back once again this week with host Jenna J to cover all the hottest news in the sport of boxing. In this episode I will recap the mega event that took place last Saturday, September 14th, the fight between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. This was by far the biggest boxing event of the entire year and it has surpassed the all time PPV revenue record. I will recap all 4 fights that took place in the event, starting off with the brilliant performance by Floyd Mayweather Jr. over the previously undefeated Saul Alvarez. Floyd once again silenced his critics by showing he is still as sharp as ever by out boxing Canelo Alvarez for 12 rounds and winning the WBC and WBA light middleweight titles. I will also be talking about the fight between Danny Garcia and Lucas Matthysse which has solidified Garcia as the best light welterweight fighter in the world as he beat Matthysse in an exciting 12 round fight. Ray talks about Floyd Mayweather’s win over Canelo Alvarez and gives his thoughts on what it takes to beat Floyd.
