If you clown round on the job, don't be surprised if you get KO'ed. And at 1:18 of round two in the UFC 162 main event, clowning around caught up with Anderson Silva who lost his fight to Chris Weidman by stunning KO.
With the victory, which many may consider shocking,
Chris Weidman becomes the new UFC middleweight champion.
Goofing around the octagon did not help Silva. Before succumbing to the knock out, (Weidman connected with a picture perfect left hook on Silva's chin), Silva had already lost the first round on the judges cards, with scores of 10-9 from all scorekeepers in favor of Weidman.
