On March 9th, 48 year old Bernard Hopkins again looks to make history and become the oldest champion in boxing history when he faces undefeated IBF Light Heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud. It has been almost a year since we last saw "The Executioner" in the ring, when he lost his Light Heavyweight championship against Chad Dawson, and many wonder if he can add to his legacy and surprise the critics once again.

In promotion for the event I was afforded the opportunity to speak with Bernard Hopkins about the fight with Cloud and get his views on why he chose to take this fight at this point in his career. In addition B-Hop discussed the perception that people are pushing him out of boxing and looking for him to retire, even though he is still an elite fighter today. Bernard also touched on his last fight with Chad Dawson, and why he believes the result will be different when he meets Tavoris Cloud.

Additionally I spoke with the 30 year old champion Tavoris Cloud to get his thoughts on his upcoming title defense. Tavoris mentioned how he plans to deal with the veteran tactics of Hopkins, his controversial bout with Gabriel Campillo and also what he sees next for himself if he is able to defeat Hopkins. Hall of Fame Promoter Don King also touched on this event and talked about how this fight effects the future of his company.
